VINEYARDS
ON THE BORDER
We are located in the heart of the Goriška Brda, in Medana, more precisely at the Plešivo micro-location, which is located on the Slovenian-Italian border. It also divides 9 hectares of exceptional locations of our vineyards, whose age goes back up to 50 years. Due to our philosophy, we depend on the vintage, but on average we produce 20-30 thousand bottles of
wine each year.
OUR WINES
THREE LINES
At our family estate, where we first bottled in 1993, we follow the idea of being nature-friendly in both - grape and wine production. We produce three wine lines: fresh line (rebula, jakot, sauvignon, chardonnay, malvazija and cabernet sauvignon), matured line (Robida rebula, jakot Plešivo, sauvignon Plešivo and cabernet sauvignon) and selections (Blaž white, Blaž red and rebula selection).
Our farm is dated back into the year 1890, when our great-grandfather Peter Blažič bought the farm and dedicated it to wine- and fruit-growing. Today three generations live and work together on the farm, where we first bottled in 1993.
